Changing the default working directory

When you choose Save, Save As, or Open from the File tab's menu, TValue will use the default working directory to look for files. The default directory that appears for saving and retrieving files can be changed within the Startup view of the TValue Options dialog which is accessed by choosing Options from the File tab's menu. When you use the Save, Save As, or Open command, TValue will automatically access the directory you have specified.

To change the default Save and Open directory

1. From the File tab's menu, choose Options. The TValue Options dialog is displayed.
2. In the Default directory field of the Startup view, click Browse and select the drive and directory where TValue will look for files when you Save and Open. You can also type the path directly in the Default directory field.
3. Click OK to close the dialog.
